About your newborn session
Warm, authentic and calm
My newborn sessions are held in the comfort of your own home and last for around 2 hours. I come prepared with everything we need to run the session - Including my newborn photography beanbag, a wide range of blankets and wraps, hand knitted outfits for bub, optional outfits for mum (if requested), even a set of sheer curtains and a portable heater. I keep the kitchen sink at home!
What to expect
A calm and relaxed session where you will be able to further soak into your little one and connect with your family. We will curate a beautiful visual storybook of your newborn bubble. We will aim to capture:
- Some beautiful solo photos of bub, gently wrapped and also showing their precious newborn movements. I keep this quite natural and do not use props in my sessions.
- Plenty of photos of bub with the family, lots of cuddles and images in the parent's arms. You will be surprised at the variety of beautiful images we can get whilst also soaking up the cuddles.
- All of the close up tiny details of your baby - I use my macro lens and get right up close capturing those tiny fingers, toes, lashes, lips and beautiful newborn fuzz.
Once your session has been booked, I will forward you a detailed welcome pack with information on how you can prepare for your session, a style guide and the client closet outfit options should you wish to borrow a dress.
